What is “Nori no Tsukudani” ?

“Nori no Tsukudani” means Seaweed boiled in soy sauce!

Can you see Black anything on top of Tofu.

This is handmade "Nori no Tsukudani"!

This dish taste is little bit sweet and you can feel Nori flavor.

There are many kinds of tsukudani in Japan

If you come to Japan, you will encounter many kinds of tsukudani.

Depending on the region or place, the ingredients used will vary.

Tsukudani is boiled down in soy sauce and is used as a reserve food and preserved food.

Goes well with rice, rice balls, tofu, fish cakes,etc.

For example, small fish, shellfish such as clams, seaweed such as kelp,Tuna,mushroom also beef.

In some mountain regions, locusts are made into tsukudani.
