More feel Japanese style in spring season
One of the my recommended cherry blossom spots “Sankeien Garden ” in Yokohama.
It takes about 40 minutes by bus from Yokohama Station.
At “Sankeien”, you can enjoy the Japanese garden, historical buildings, and cherry blossoms in spring.
This is a picture I took when the cherry blossoms were in full bloom in 2022.
For a limited time, you can also enjoy the illumination of the cherry blossoms at night.
The atmosphere of the cherry blossoms is fantastic and different from that of the daytime.
The wind was strong that day, so we could enjoy the cherry blossom blizzard.
The sight of petals dancing in the wind is very emotional.
Do you know the word “dumpling is better than flowers”?
There is also a spot in the park called ”Saryo” where you can enjoy a light meal.
You can enjoy eating dumplings and other snacks while viewing the cherry blossoms.
Of course I did eat “Dango(Dumpling)”!

This is Japanese proverb.
It indicates a person who enjoys drinking and eating more than beautiful cherry blossoms and flowers, and who has such an attitude.
In fact, I may have been more of a dumpling than a flower 🤣
Because There are Dango(Dumpling) was really good !
